一句话瑜伽,第345期Tatiana:打小我就勤习柔韧,当我开始接触瑜伽的时候就如鱼得水了。Flexibility is something I worked on a lot as a child and so when I started yoga it did give me a big advantage.
但是我了解了关于身体的多面性,我意识到,过去我忽略了肌肉的力量而去过度使用我的韧性。but I have learned about dual actions in our bodies and I realized that in the past I had been over using my elasticity without my muscular strength.
老实说,这也解释了我过去的一些伤病。and to be honest that explains some of my past injuries.
瑜伽是一种平衡,从中寻找自我的平衡。因此,我需要从放肆的柔韧中收敛,我需要在深度拉伸的时候专注肌肉的力量。Yoga is balance its finding our neutral so I had to restrain from extreme flexibility and work on strengthening my muscles while in deep stretching.
相信,只要释放出自我,就会覆水难收。As far as my ego goes believe me it was frustrating and a real challenge.
但时至今日,我很庆幸自己选择了平衡,而不是放任自我以及伤害自己的身体。but moving to present day I'm glad I chose balance instead of feeding my ego and hurting my body.
