例如,面对事情你可能会发现,自己正用20岁的时候用过的方式来处理,然后意识到你不再是当年20岁的自己。For instance, you might find yourself reacting to a circumstance in a way that you did when you were 20, and then realizing you are not that 20 year old anymore.
我们在年幼时期都会以某种方式做出反应。但现在你长大了。We all have stuff from our early childhood that causes us to react in certain ways.But You are a very different person.
意识到这些模式总是第一步,但是意识之后的下一步就是暂停,并意识到你没有被束缚或者被锁在你意识到的之前的行为中。Becoming aware of these patterns is always the first step.But the next step after awareness is to pause and realize you are not bound or locked into acting like you did before you had that awareness.
改变根深蒂固的模式是困难的,而且不会一夜之间发生。接受你仍然会从这些模式中做出反应,宽恕自己是关键。Changing deeply ingrained patterns is difficult, and it doesn 't happen overnight. Accepting you still react from those patterns, and forgiving yourself is key.

你更聪明,你有能力从一个更有爱心、富有同情心的地方行动起来面对别人和你自己。You are wiser and you have the power to act from a more loving, compassionate place towards others and towards yourself.
